What Is Two-Wheel Alignment?

The wheels on your Kia start perfectly aligned. However, they don’t always stay that way. Both bigger jolts (like hitting a pothole or backing over a curb) and day-to-day driving can knock the wheels out of alignment. When this happens, an alignment service will need to be performed. If you’re driving a vehicle with front-wheel drive or rear-wheel drive, you’ll likely only need to have two wheels aligned.

First, our technicians will inspect the camber, toe, and caster angles of your vehicle’s wheels. These are ways of measuring the wheels’ angles in relationship to each other and your vehicle. Camber refers to how much the wheels tilt inwards or outwards when viewed from the front, while toe refers to the same thing when the wheels are viewed from above. Caster, on the other hand, refers to the steering axis concerning the vertical axis. All three of these angles should be precisely correct. If one or more is not as it should be, our technicians will make the necessary adjustments to bring everything back to factory specifications.
